Welcome To Kiyara Consultation

Where Image meets your pupose, and Style tells your story....

But! First let me Introduce myself….

“From Struggles to Style: My Journey as an Image Consultant”

There was a time when I doubted myself—when I felt invisible, lost, and unsure of how to present the best version of me. I’ve always believed in the power of first impressions, but learning how to shape mine took years of trial, error, and self-discovery.

Breaking Free from Expectations:

I was raised in a conservative family where traditions, values, and societal expectations shaped every aspect of life—including how one should present themselves. There was an unspoken rule about how to dress, behave, and carry oneself, especially as a woman. Modesty, subtlety, and blending in were considered virtues, while self-expression through fashion was often seen as vanity or rebellion.

For years, I conformed. I dressed the way I was expected to, spoke in a way that wouldn’t stand out, and followed the path that was laid out for me. But deep inside, I felt disconnected from my true self. I admired people who carried themselves with confidence, those who dared to express their individuality through style. Yet, whenever I tried to do the same, I was met with resistance—judgment from others, disapproving looks, and even guilt from within.

 People often questioned my choices:

“Why do you care so much about how you look?”

“Isn’t it enough to just be presentable?”

“You’re trying too hard.”

I began to feel like an outsider in my own world, constantly battling between staying true to my upbringing and embracing the person I wanted to become.

The Turning Point:

The shift didn’t happen overnight. It started with small moments—realising how confident I felt when I dressed in a way that truly reflected me, noticing how people responded differently when I carried myself with self-assurance. I started reading about personal branding, body language, and the psychology of style. I discovered that image wasn’t just about fashion—it was about identity, confidence, and empowerment.

But the biggest challenge was changing my mindset. I had to unlearn the belief that prioritising my image was superficial. Instead, I learned that how I present myself is an extension of my personality, my goals, and my self-respect. Dressing well didn’t mean I was rejecting my roots—it meant I was embracing who I was meant to be.

I started experimenting with my style, making intentional choices that aligned with both my cultural background and my personal identity. And as I grew more confident, the judgment from others began to matter less.

Becoming an Image Consultant:

My transformation wasn’t just external—it was deeply personal. I realised that so many people, especially those from conservative backgrounds, struggle with the same internal battle. They want to express themselves, but fear judgment. They want to be confident, but don’t know how to break free from the expectations placed on them.

That’s when I knew—this was my purpose. I wanted to help others find their confidence through style, just as I had. I studied, trained, and worked to become an image consultant. Now, I don’t just focus on fashion; I help people embrace their identity, step into their power, and redefine their presence.

My Mission Today:

Today, I use my journey to empower others. I understand what it feels like to be trapped by societal expectations, and I know the freedom that comes with reclaiming your image on your own terms. My goal is to guide people toward self-expression, confidence, and authenticity—without guilt, without fear.

If my story resonates with you, know that you are not alone. You don’t have to choose between tradition and self-expression—you can honour both while staying true to yourself. Your image is your story. Make sure it reflects who you truly are.
